The act
A wedding reception feature with hula dancers and live music could take shape through Tipoki's Hawaiian show. The singer, songwriter and guitarist offers a covers band as well as themed performances, with older music a speciality and current chart covers also possible. The Hawaiian format includes male and female hula dancers with drummers and a live backing band, while other shows explore Santana or seventies soul. You might choose the moment after dinner for one of those features, giving everyone a chance to gather around the performance before the celebration moves into its next musical phase.

Good to know
On the day
Whether the booking is solo or the full band, an hour on site beforehand is the ask. On the power side, a clean supply matters more than the number of outlets, so an unloaded circuit is the thing to check with your venue. For the band version there needs to be stage room for a drum kit, a bass rig and a guitar rig, plus the sound and lighting gear that goes with them. Measure the space and mention it when you enquire.
